Today was a big day! Not only did we have a racoon in the dining room, but today was the day that Hanny got her big girl's bed! She was ecstatic! You really should have been there to see the look on her face! Absolute complete joy! She fell asleep in 10 minutes flat, and it usually takes her at least an hour to fall asleep. I think she was just feeling so excited that it wiped her out! Pictures to follow in the morning.....

I just had the craziest thing happen! I went into the kitchen to wash dishes, and I heard a crunching sound in the dining room. I knew that Charlie (our dog) was downstairs with Todd, and when I looked over in the dining room, the biggest raccoon I have ever seen was sitting in the dining room eating dog food!!!!! I screamed sooo loud! It was the weirdest feeling! He ran out the door, but then peered around the corner of the door back in, so I screamed again, and then Todd came and he went running!!!!

I guess I wont be leaving the back door open at night for fresh air!!!!

Today was cute. Hannie was not feeling well and took a 3 hour nap. I finally went to go check on her, and could hear her singing in her crib. When I opened the door, she stood up and announced very loudly, "Mommy! I was singing with the hippos!!!"
Life is sweet.

So, after all that, I am back to the way my hair was before I started. I went to a lady today, who fixes botched color jobs, and she brought it back to the original color. Its kind of a bummer to spend all that money, just to have the hair you originally started out with. Oh well! I guess I will have to try again another time!!!!!

Yesterday was a bad hair day. The day I had been waiting for finally came. I was going to have my hair highligted. The excitement turned to tradgedy, when we blew it dry, it came out looking like an old lady. It was white and gray, and all wiry. It was so awful! Abby had a friend over and they immediately held a prayer vigil for me, going into her room, praying, coming back out and checking to see if God had fixed the situation. It was actually really cute, and made me feel a lot better!! Then the hair stylist came back and tried to fix it, but now it just looks like a head of synthetic hair in a weird unnatural color. Im going to try to get it "fixed". I will keep you posted....
